HOLTZ RUBENSTEIN REMINICK PARTNER NAMED AMONG THE "40 UNDER 40"

January 27, 2006 – - Andrew Vuono, Audit Partner at Holtz Rubenstein Reminick, "America's Fastest Growing Accounting Firm," has been named among the prestigious "40 Under 40" Class of 2006 by Long Island Business News.

LIBN recognized Mr. Vuono, age 38, as one of Long Island's "rising stars" because of his exceptional business accomplishments and community involvement.

In 2001, at age 34, Mr. Vuono became a partner at Holtz Rubenstein on Long Island and at the time was instrumental in implementing the firm's technology plans, which included rolling out paperless audits. Three years later, when the firm merged with Reminick Aarons in New York City, he was made the Partner-in-Charge of the SEC practice, which to date has grown 50 percent under his leadership.

As the firm's expert on Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC accounting and disclosure rules, Mr. Vuono frequently appears at professional forums, organizations and universities where he lectures on IPOs, mergers and acquisition, and the ramifications of SOX 404.

Mr. Vuono's meteoric rise within the firm has not gone unnoticed in the business community. Aside from being selected for the "40 under 40," he is one of the youngest professionals to be asked to join the board of the Advancement for Commerce, Industry and Technology (ACIT). Recently he was honored in the list of "Who's Who Among Auditors" and the "5 to Watch in Accounting," both from Long Island Business News. In addition, to his position on the board of ACIT, Mr. Vuono is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs, as well as the Theater Party for the Arthritis Foundation.
